Principal

Gina’s love of dance began at a young age, growing up on the beautiful Isle of Wight. She started her training at the Gillian Cartwright School of Dance and the Royal Ballet School and later at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, where she developed her skills across a wide range of dance styles.

After completing her training, Gina enjoyed an exciting career as a professional dancer, performing in productions around the world. These experiences gave her the opportunity to work with talented performers and explore many different styles of dance, inspiring a lifelong passion for the art form.

In 2017, Gina moved to Wales to begin a new chapter with her proud Welsh husband. Since then, she has built an extensive teaching career, working with a variety of dance schools across the UK and spending the last eight years teaching and inspiring young dancers in Cardiff. Along the way, she has had the privilege of helping countless children develop not only their dance technique, but also their confidence, creativity and love of performing.

After becoming a mum to her three wonderful children, Gina’s passion for teaching grew even stronger. She understands how important it is for every child to feel welcomed, encouraged and supported, whether they’re taking their very first dance steps or working towards exams and performances. Her classes are designed to be fun, nurturing and inspiring, while providing high-quality training and strong technical foundations.

Gina is a qualified ISTD teacher and is delighted to open her own dance school in Cowbridge. She is excited to create a warm and inclusive dance family where every child can grow in confidence, make lasting friendships and discover the joy of dance. For Gina, teaching has become every bit as rewarding as performing, and nothing makes her happier than seeing her students flourish both inside and outside the studio.
